If regular ranch duties aren't dangerous or rough enough, the cowboys persist in carrying on friendly competition in the Rodeo Arena. They might "rassle" a bovine critter down or git on top of 2000 pounds of twistin', buckin' fury, a Brahma Bull (pronounced Bray-mer in Texas). All this is done without helmets, pads or corporate underwriting. If a Rodeo Cowboy is bucked off and maybe stomped on he'll still get to his feet, pick up his hat, dust himself off and walk back to the chutes, unless both legs are broken.
